The college decision is a two-way street. While you evaluate students, they are also evaluating your institution. It is thus critical that information flow seamlessly between students and institutions during the application and review process. Any prospective college student will tell you that the application process can be frustrating and obtuse. While students receive an overwhelming volume of information from colleges, they often do not receive useful information about the status of their application. More than marketing, students want to know where they stand and what they have todo to navigate the application process successfully.
The goals of this survey were to capture a current snapshot of dual enrollment (DE) course and program practices at institutions in the United States and determine if and how DE plays a role in the strategic enrollment management efforts of the institution.
Increasingly, higher education institutions in America are rethinking their admissions and recruiting practices to draw students who will be a good fit with their institutional culture.
